Performance Companies at Ettingshausens are designed for dancers who love being on stage and want more performance opportunities alongside their regular dance training. These companies provide additional rehearsals, special events and performance experiences.

Our Performance Companies
Ettingshausens offers 3 different performance companies based on age.
Dynamites (Ages 3-5)
The Dynamites is our Tiny Company, an additional dance class for children aged 3 - 5 years old focusing on teamwork, confidence building and performance!
Affectionately known as 'The Dynies', members of our Tiny Company get to dance on stage at various community events and festivals. From the Sydney Royal Easter Show to Relay for Life, Dynamites build belief in themselves, extended dancing skills, and so much confidence.

Predance (Ages 7-11)
Our junior performance company, Predance is designed for primary school dancers who are ready for more performance opportunities.
Dancers perform at events and special showcases throughout the year including Sydney Royal Easter Show, Relay For Life and community performances.
Edance (Ages 11+)
Our senior performance company, Edance is focused on performance.
Each Friday our Company trains together, working as a cast and being invited to push past their comfort zones to grow themselves, and each other, as artists. We work as a team towards independent performance opportunities, guided by resident mentors, working regularly with guest educators/ choreographers and to use a dance platform as a base on which to build live performance quality, style, production skills, voice and camera work and more.
We sometimes group our Company session classes according to age but ultimately we work as a cast and dancers are encouraged to think beyond these limits.
